- In the afternoon I played 3(!!!) hours UNO with Florian. He's got his special rules, first only the special cards (+4, +2, stop, ...) are allowed, second we build our deck from the special cards of two normal UNO decks. I can tell you that this leads to some really weird games and requires completely different tactics. Sometimes you get an immediate winner hand (Florian had it twice) which consists only of stop cards and one other card :) I am not yet sure if the new rules are more fun than the original ones, but he refuses to play with the standard rules.
- Florian today announced that he wants to become a Maserati salesman when he grows up. Since they are so expensive he figured that this would be the ideal way to get rich fast. Why haven't I thought of that earlier?!
- Children often quote things totally out of context. I picked up juggling again and today Matthias watched me for a while in the morning. I had three white and one red ball. The red one is normally used for bounce juggling and thus bounces very well. When Florian came back home Matthias told him "The red one bounces everywhere!". Florian's look on his face expressed simply: "WTF?!"
- During playgroup in the morning we always do some handicraft with the children. Today a daughter cut of part of her mother's finger! There was quite a lot of blood, so always remember: handicraft is dangerous.
- Evening program: Portal which Florian refers to as "The puzzle game".
- Lunch: Lionheads, Dinner: Leftovers & fruit.
