Day 49 - Poorly

• Matthias felt very poorly all day, has been crying a lot and woke up completely panicking during a nap. Poor little fellow, in the evening he's been better, so I hope he'll get well soon.
• In the morning he spilled some water on his tights. Since I couldn't be bothered to change them we blow dried them while he still wore them. That was quite exciting for him, because I guess Heidrun normally would just change them :)
• My mom was over, so I could take a nap as well, last night was a bit rough, because Matthias was so annoyed by the itch of the chickenpox.
• Matthias today suddenly said: "Jungle book Peter is so funny." I guess that's a compliment.
• Today I removed a gigantic bogy from Matthias' EAR! I didn't even know an ear could produce something like that.
• Matthias starts to understand what's going on in movies. Recently when watching Lion King he always gets quite desperate when Mufasa dies saying: "The one with the red hair shouldn't die". I always console him that he's only sleeping. Luckily Simba later on looks exactly the same so currently he still believes me. (It doesn't help that Florian keeps telling his brother that he's dead.)
