Day 52 - Easter

• Today was Easter sunday. The kids were so excited that we got up at 6 AM to look for the presents the Easter Bunny has hidden. Heidrun got up at 5:45 to hide the stuff, when Florian got up she was still out there so I told him that she was in church. Easter is a lot more fun with kids. We/the bunny gave them lots of sweets and a book and DVD each.
• Dads to crazier stuff than moms. While we were brushing the kids teeth I discovered that you can slide really well with slippers on our wooden floor into the bathroom where the floor is tiled. Florian was laughing a lot when he saw that. So to impress him I had another go with high speed. Unfortunately I couldn't stop and fell head over into the bathtub which was actually quite painful :) But Florian couldn't stopped laughing anymore, haven't seen him like this in a long time, so it was definitely worth it. I couldn't find one slipper which had actually landed in the tub as well during the crash. Heidrun only shook her head and noticed that she actually has three and soon four kids at home.
  
• After his nap Matthias today threw a tantrum that was unbelievable. He just couldn't stop crying because he wanted to wear his boots in the lounge. It was so funny that I filmed it on video.
• Watched parts of "Die wilden Kerle" and "Ratatouille" today.
• We are more and more happy with our house that we've actually bought over the internet. Since we both didn't really have a clue about houses we are only now finding out that for a terraced house our's is a lot more spacious than the other's that are currently being built.
